Age Limit & Eligibility for NEET Application:
He/she has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her
admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical Course. For Candidates of General (UR)/General- EWS, SC/ST/OBCNCL/ PwBD/PwD Category candidate to be born on or before 31-12-2008.
Upper age limit: As per Letter No. U-11022/2/2022-UGMEB, dated 09 March 2022 received from National Medical Commission (NMC), Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) regarding the upper age limit, there is no upper age limit.
Nationality: Citizens belonging to the following nationalities are eligible to apply for NEET (UG).

- Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
- Persons with Indian Origin (PIO)
- Foreign Nationals

Reservation of Seats:
Reservation Policy of the Central Government in All India Quota seats (Govt./Govt. aided/National Institutes/Central Universities) counseling is as follows:
- SC- 15%
- ST- 7.5%
- PwBD- 5% Horizontal Reservation
- OBC (Non- Creamy Layer)- 27 % Only in National Institutes/Central Universities
- EWS- 10% Only in National Institutes/Central Universities (who satisfy the conditions given in the OM No. 20013/01/2018-BC-II dated 17 January 2019, issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment).

Pattern of the Test:
The Test pattern of NEET (UG) – 2025 comprises Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology). Candidates are hereby informed that starting from NEET (UG)-2025 will revert back to pre-COVID pattern vide public notice dated 25.01.2025. The question paper will consist of 180 compulsory questions which must be attempted by the candidates in 180 minutes. These changes have been incorporated in the NEET (UG)-2025 test pattern.
